Learning Resources / Simulations
Regan Ross started Action-Ed because he saw a gap: Too many people had strong ideas about what education should be, but few were doing it. What was missing wasn’t passion or theory—it was quality learning resources that helped educators deliver the kind of teaching they already believed in. Regan believed the breakthrough was, and is, in well-designed simulations.
Simulations create rich learning experiences and real practice. They surface the kind of thinking and reflection that can’t be captured in a worksheet. Since 2008, when Action-Ed’s first simulation, Civic Mirror, went to market with a pilot group, it has validated that belief. Civic Mirror has brought an energy into classrooms that’s been genuinely transformative. It’s a proof case that simulations can transform education.

As Regan built the learning side of Action-Ed, he also fell in love with business growth and strategy—through entrepreneurship, formal studies, and a decade across the B2B world in strategy, business development, revenue, and growth roles.
