HISTORY
Action-Ed is a teacher created company through and through. Although Action-Ed was officially founded in January, 2008, the idea began many years before. Early in his teaching career, Regan Ross was humbled and inspired by the excitement experiential learning games and simulations generated in classrooms. He wondered, “Why isn’t everyone doing this?” Regan developed many of his own experiential learning activities and simulations, one of which grew to become The Civic Mirror. Years later, and after many ‘teaching and learning discussions’ with friends and colleagues, Regan and his wife, Amy Ross, decided to do something about it. Armed with passion, will, and the determination of two school teachers, they began planting the seeds of Action-Ed in 2006, and have doggedly grown it to where it is today. |
